It's an intermediate-level pattern that uses flying geese and plenty of piecing. ### Meet the Designer Wendy Sheppard is a talented quilt pattern designer who brought us this week's block. She's sewing her Sewcialites 3 Quilt with scrappy red, white, and blue scraps from her stash. That's a great way to use up leftover fabric while creating something beautiful. ### Block Details and Sizes The Down To Earth Block comes in three size options, so you can choose what fits your project best. Kimberly sewed the 6-inch block using Lyda Rose by Bunny Hill Designs for Moda Fabrics. Gina Tell made the 3-inch block in Wild Honey by Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics. Pat Sloan pieced her 9-inch block with Rosie by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda Fabrics.
