We're back from h+h Americas in Houston with a camera roll full of quilts, fabrics, and inspiration! From Sample It finds to new collections from Riley Blake and Moda, here are the highlights.
We just got back from h+h Americas in Houston, and our camera roll is bursting with quilts, fabrics, and enough inspiration to last all year. If you couldn't make it this time, don't worry—we're giving you a front-row seat to everything we saw.
We spent our days walking the show floor, catching up with friends in the quilting industry, and getting a sneak peek at new collections, patterns, and products headed your way. So grab a cup of coffee, settle in, and let's walk through the highlights together.
### Starting at Sample It
We kicked things off at Sample It, and Kimberly—being Kimberly—found a few treasures to bring home. She picked up the Cozy Collection by Stacy Lee Creative, a brand-new collection from Elizabeth Hartman, and a handful of other fun finds that caught her eye.
If you've never been to Sample It, it's basically a quilter's dream: tables piled high with fabric samples, and you get to snag the ones that speak to you. Kimberly's haul was a good one this year.
### Around the Show Floor
At Art Gallery Fabrics, Kimberly spotted some denim fabrics from The Denim Studio that she immediately loved as potential quilt backgrounds. There's something about seeing fabrics in person—it sparks ideas you'd never get from a screen. These definitely made her list.
We also stopped by Lila Gardunia's booth to see her new Scrappy Trees. Kimberly is a huge fan of foundation paper piecing, so these were an instant favorite. The detail in each little tree is just incredible.
Another highlight was seeing Wendy Sheppard's Good Neighbors Quilt in person for the first time. You can reserve it now if you want one for yourself. We loved all the little houses, gardens, and tiny details stitched throughout. It's one of those quilts you could stare at for hours and still find something new. We're looking forward to working with Wendy on more projects down the road.
### Riley Blake Designs at h+h
We always make a beeline for Riley Blake Designs, and this year didn't disappoint. We stopped by Lori Holt's display to get a closer look at her projects, books, and colorful yarns—including the adorable stockings Kimberly spotted. You can find that pattern in Lori's brand-new book, Granny Square Along!
We also spent time seeing more upcoming Riley Blake collections and catching up with designers throughout the show. It's always fun to put faces to the names behind the fabrics we love.
### Moda Fabrics at h+h
Moda Fabrics was another major stop for us. We visited with Moda designers, saw upcoming fabric collections, and took plenty of photos of the quilts and projects filling their displays. Their booth is always a feast for the eyes.
Getting to see all these fabrics and finished projects together is one of our favorite parts of attending a show like h+h Americas. It's like getting a preview of what your sewing room will look like in the coming months.
### Until Next Time, h+h Americas!
We came home from Houston with lots of inspiration and even more ideas for what's ahead at Fat Quarter Shop. Thank you for following along with us during h+h Americas! We can't wait to share more of the fabrics, patterns, and projects we spotted as they make their way to the shop.
Which h+h Americas find was your favorite? Let us know in the comments—we'd love to hear what caught your eye.

We're already counting down the days until next year's show. Until then, happy quilting!
