Jackie MacDonald's With Love Block Brings Heart to Sewcialites 3

Welcome back for week 23 of the Sewcialites 3 Quilt Along, where we're celebrating the incredible quilting community that makes this journey so special. Every week, one of the 25 oh-sew-talented designers we've teamed up with shares a brand-new block pattern, and this week, we're thrilled to introduce the love-ly With Love Block by Jackie MacDonald! ### Meet the Designer: Jackie MacDonald Jackie designs under the name Sweetfire Road (@sweetfireroad), and her work brings a beautiful artistry to both fabric designs and quilt patterns. She's known for her fresh take on color and composition, and this week's block is no exception. She created the intermediate-level With Love Block, which uses a creative mix of rectangles and squares to form a heartwarming design that's perfect for quilters ready to stretch their skills just a bit. You can join Kimberly for a live sewing tutorial of the With Love Block on Friday, July 31st, at 9 AM CT, in the Behind The Seams Livestream on the Fat Quarter Shop YouTube Channel. The block is designed to fit perfectly with the others in the series, so your finished quilt will come together seamlessly. ### See the Block in Three Sizes One of the best parts of this quilt along is seeing how different fabric choices and sizes change the look of a block. Kimberly sewed the 6-inch block using Lyda Rose by Bunny Hill Designs for Moda Fabrics, and it's soft and romantic. Gina Tell (@gina_tell_threadgraffiti) made the 3-inch block in Wild Honey by Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics, which gives it a warm, cozy feel. Pat Sloan (@quilterpatsloan) pieced her 9-inch block with Rosie by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda Fabrics, and the larger size really lets the fabric shine. Three of our Quilty Staffers are also joining in, making 9-inch blocks using Blueprint by Camille Roskelley for Moda Fabrics, American Gatherings III by Primitive Gatherings for Moda Fabrics, and In the Garden by Corey Yoder for Moda Fabrics.
