The Quilting Gems We Found at h+h Americas 2026

We're back from h+h Americas in Houston with a camera roll full of quilts, fabrics, and inspiration! From Sample It finds to Moda and Riley Blake previews, here are the highlights.

We just got back from h+h Americas in Houston, and our camera roll is bursting with quilts, fabrics, and enough inspiration to keep us stitching for months. We spent our days walking the show floor, catching up with friends in the quilting world, and getting a sneak peek at new collections, patterns, and products heading your way. If you couldn't make it, don't worry—we're sharing the highlights so you can feel like you were right there with us. ### Starting at Sample It We kicked things off at Sample It, and you know Kimberly—she couldn't resist picking up a few treasures. She snagged the Cozy Collection by Stacy Lee Creative, a brand-new line from Elizabeth Hartman, and a couple of other fun finds that caught her eye. It's always exciting to see what designers are cooking up next, and these definitely set the tone for the rest of the trip. ### Around the Show Floor At Art Gallery Fabrics, Kimberly spotted some denim fabrics from The Denim Studio that she immediately loved as potential quilt backgrounds. There's something about seeing fabrics in person that sparks completely new ideas—these quickly made her list. We also stopped by Lila Gardunia's booth to check out her new Scrappy Trees. Kimberly is a huge fan of foundation paper piecing, so these were an instant favorite. Another highlight was seeing Wendy Sheppard's Good Neighbors Quilt in person for the first time. The little houses, gardens, and intricate details throughout the quilt had us swooning. We're looking forward to working with Wendy on more projects soon, and you can reserve the pattern now if you want to make your own. ### Riley Blake Designs at h+h We always make a beeline for Riley Blake Designs, and this year didn't disappoint. We swung by Lori Holt's display to admire her projects, books, and colorful yarns—including the adorable stockings Kimberly spotted. You can find that pattern in Lori's brand-new book, Granny Square Along! We also spent time exploring more upcoming Riley Blake collections and chatting with designers throughout the show. It's always a treat to see what they have up their sleeves. ### Moda Fabrics at h+h Moda Fabrics was another major stop on our itinerary. We visited with Moda designers, previewed upcoming fabric collections, and snapped plenty of photos of the stunning quilts and projects filling their displays. Seeing all those fabrics and finished pieces together is one of our favorite parts of attending a show like h+h Americas. It's like a giant quilt gallery, and we left feeling so inspired. ### Until Next Time, h+h Americas! We came home from Houston with lots of inspiration and even more ideas for what's ahead at Fat Quarter Shop. Thank you for following along with us during h+h Americas! We can't wait to share more of the fabrics, patterns, and projects we spotted as they make their way to the shop. Which h+h Americas find was your favorite? Let us know in the comments! > "Seeing fabrics in person can spark completely new ideas, and these definitely made it onto her list." We hope this little recap gives you a taste of the excitement we felt at the show. Stay tuned for more details on these collections and patterns—they'll be hitting our shelves soon!
