This Sewcialites 3 Block Will Test Your Piecing Skills

Welcome back for week 24 of the Sewcialites 3 Quilt Along! This one's a stunner. ### Meet Lisa Bongean Lisa Bongean is a longtime quilter and the creative force behind Primitive Gatherings for Moda Fabrics. She's known for her warm, traditional aesthetic with a modern twist. For this project, she's sewing her Sewcialites 3 Quilt using her American Gatherings III collection, and the results are gorgeous. The Star Light Block is rated for experienced quilters, and for good reason. It puts your piecing skills to the test with eight flying geese units and some clever corner square techniques. And Pat Sloan (@quilterpatsloan) pieced her 9-inch block with Rosie by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda Fabrics.
